The Gallery, started by three art lovers in 2006, has since become a popular, chilled-out haven for many. It showcases work by emerging and established Atlanta-based artists.
Featuring three one-person shows per month, the Gallery usually exhibits one internationally renowned artist as well as a mid career and emerging artist. The work usually comprises of sculptures, paintings and drawings.
You can find a wide range of art available at this Gallery, from folk art to paintings to sculpture. Some of the work is traditional and some of it experimental.

Swan Coach House Art Gallery
The Gallery features work by internationally renowned Southwestern contemporary artists. They also offer a tearoom and a giftshop.
Specializing in 20th century and contemproray photography, the Gallery has some prominent customers including The Metropolitan Museum of Art, the High Museum of Art and the Museum of Fine Art in Houston.

The High Museum of Art holds more than 11,000 works of art, which includes 19th and 20th century American art; European art; decorative arts; African American art; modern and contemporary art, photographs; and African art. The Museum embraces work by self-taught artists of the South such as Howard Finster.

Held in May, the Atlanta Downtown Festival includes live entertainment, an artists market, a beer garden and other activities to show the vibrancy of downtown Atlanta. You will usually find work from some of the best Southeastern artists.
The Rail District Studio Cruise offers a free tour to some of the artistic venues in downtown Avondale off East Ponce De Leon Avenue. You can enjoy paintings, sculpture, theatre, jewelry, pottery, blown glass, furtniture, live music, photography, magicians and more. It is held annually in February.
Artists associated with Atlanta
John Gutzon de la Mothe Borglum (1867-1941) is most famous for Mount Rushmore. He had a fascination with large scale sculptures that reflected America’s heroic nationalism.
Mildred Thompson (1936-2003) was a painter, drawer, printmaker, sculptor and photographer. Her interest in astronomy, spiritualism and metaphysics had a significant influence in her art.
