Visit the Streetsy art blog.

Streetsy art blog has one goal: to host the largest selection of street art on the internet. Sponsored by the Wooster Collective, with Jake Dobkin acting as curator, Streetsy is comprised of a blog site, and a Flickr group – with the Flickr group being available for direct access from the Streetsy site, via the ‘Streetsy Group’ link.

The Flickr group has a very impressive following with about 3,900 members and 139,000 images at the time of writing. The map area goes as far as showing you where in the world the graffiti is located – it is interesting to compare styles between the different locations. You can also spend some time browsing the discussion board, which is used by members to showcase any news or interesting articles.

Coming back to the Streetsy blog – we particularly appreciate the street art in New York and Los Angeles feature, which pinpoints on a map some well known graffiti spots. If you are travelling to either of these cities we recommend you add some of these locations to your itinerary.

The images on the blog have all been taken by Dobkin. We like how he is enthusiastic enough to take photos whilst on his travels outside of New York – So far there are pictures of graffiti from: Los Angeles; Paris; Reykjavik; San Francisco; Santiago; Tel Aviv; and Tokyo.

There are a two ways you can get your street art sightings added to the Streetsy collection: You can email your images to be showcased on the Dear Streetsy section, or you can upload your photos to Streetsy’s Flickr page (which is what most people do). You must be a member of Flickr in order to do the latter.
