Brush and Baren art blog chronicles Sherrie York’s life as a Linocut and Watercolor artist.
We enjoy York’s gradual updates on the individual stages of her work, from start to finish. For example, unfamiliar with the Linocut process will be interested to see exactly what is involved – particularly how long the whole creation process can be.
York gets a lot of her inspiration from the great outdoors. There are some stunning photos of Colorado’s scenery on the blog, and we generally find a visit a nice break from a busy schedule. Given that there is quite a lot of focus on Colorado art scene, including artist and exhibit reviews, we would definitely recommend this art blog to art lovers located in the State.
In between Brush and Baren’s calming influence, its quality coverage of the Colorado art scene, and its detailed insight into the Linocut art process, it is almost guaranteed visitors will find something new at this art blog.
