Adebanji Alade: My Art, My Passion For Sketching
Adebanji Alade: My Art, My Passion For Sketching art blog.

My Art, My Passion For Sketching is a collection of Alade’s day-to-day sketches. The majority of Alade’s work is figurative and portrait based, with an emphasis on conveying a feeling of life, movement, and energy. A reoccuring theme is people on public transport, a subject which both works well with Alade’s style, and captures his attention.

Alade’s blog stands out for the details that accompany each post. Descriptions of the method and materials he has used combine with background stories, to provide a compelling insight into Alade’s passion. We particularly enjoy it when he highlights an interesting aspect of the subject, which he has caught in his drawing, such as a glimmer in the eye or a cheeky grin.

Alade’s other art blog covers the transformation of sketches into paintings. Details like the fact that Alade usually has no color reference but his memory, will again capture the interest of art lovers.

Our View
Taken together, Alade has one of the most impressive collection of artists blog entries to be found anywhere on the web today. The blog entries combine to tell a cohesive, personal, interesting, and compelling story. Art lovers will find plenty of interest in this blog, and artists looking for inspiration on how they might develop their own blogs will find plenty on Alade’s two blogs.
