On My Desk is for anyone curious about artists’ working conditions. Creatives can upload images of their work environment, highlighting any interesting aspects that are important to their handiwork.

We think this a good idea, that, once thought of, is obviously going to interest art lovers. Not only do some people have some interesting work spaces, from which you may well find an idea or two to incorporate into your own workspace, but the site works well for networking.

The bottom line is that the results may not be as extravagant as MTV Cribs, but it is less contrived, and therefore more fun.

Katirona Chapman, 6th January 2009

Why we like it:
Chapman shows us how she optimizes her small-sized workspace.
