In 2001, street art received far less mainstream recognition than it does now. The Wooster Collective art blog was founded to document and preserve art which can be ‘washed away’ at any time. Since then, street art has grown in popularity, and the Wooster Collective has grown to become one of the most effective promoters and exhibiters of street art around.
Art displayed on the blog is sourced from around the world. Photographs of the art are good quality, and take centre stage; short, incisive commentary is included on an if-we-have-something-significant-to-say basis. The quality of the art work itself is utterly stunning, consistently innovative, and often laugh-out-loud funny.
We also particularly enjoy the A’s to our Q’s interviews, where street artists talk about themselves, accompanied by images of their work, and the shit we’re diggin’, which showcases whatever has captured the Schillers’ attention.
The Wooster Collective does an excellent job of covering one of the most interesting and exciting art scenes around. This art blog is comfortably one of our top 10, and we recommend a trip to anyone – even people with no previous interest in art.

Marc is a successful CEO of marketing services company ElectricArtists, and Sara does real estate marketing for a large hotel company.
In 2006, the Schillers collaborated with Caroline Cummings and Bill Elias to turn the building at 11 Spring Street, NYC, into a temporary street art gallery. The 3 day show was very popular and featured artists such as Swoon, D*Face, Lady Pink, and Shepard Fairey.
