Pittsburgh Arts – Digging Pitt
Visit the Pittsburgh Arts – Digging Pitt art blog.
The founder of this art blog, John Morris, used to run the Digging Pitt art gallery. Mr Morris produces the Digging Pitt with seven other contributors from the area.
The Digging Pitt art gallery closed its doors in January 2008, but the blog continues. We are fortunate that this is the case, because Pittsburgh evidently has an interesting art scene, which is passionately covered by the Digging Pitt team.
The mix of contributors works really well on this art blog. Different opinions and perspectives are provided on the Pittsburgh art scene. We particularly like the varied perspective precisely because it is difficult to get insight from one viewpoint – particularly if you are, like us, reading from afar.
The other aspect that we really like about this collaborative effort is that together the team cover a lot of ground. We particularly enjoyed reading the Digging Pitt coverage of community oriented events. If you live in the area, the Digging Pitt is an obvious must read. If you are considering providing a collaborative coverage of an art scene, we recommend this art blog as a great place to get ideas.
