Church’s paintings are all oil on canvas. Her inspiration is drawn from tropical and coastal regions she has visited, namely Puerto Rico, Florida and Long Island. The art is comprised of large fanciful shapes using soft, playful colours; the effect is what appears to be a floating image. The dynamism draws in the viewer making the eye follow the flow of one shape to the other.
