Carol’s Bloggie is an insight into Es’s personal life as well as her progression as an artist. The tough childhood experiences Es has faced fuels the subjects of her art and blog entries. Her work is used to help psychologically release her from the torments of the past. Es is noticeably honest with an endearing sense of humour that is entwined with a dark wit.
Es reports on the development of her work throughout the blog, delivering an interesting overview of her artistic methodology. One of the topics that Es posts about is the creation of her books. All handmade, each edition is an original work of art that documents her thoughts and dreams. She is obviously aware that her openness can leave her vulnerable, but this is one of the appealing characteristics of the blog.
Carol’s Bloggie is ideal for those that like to explore the story behind someone’s work.
